HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITY!

Steps to get back on track after Easter..

If you are like most people, you might have struggled with eating healthy over the Easter weekend. This my friends…. means you are human!

If you are one of the few who were able to eat perfectly clean, I might hire you to teach me your ways! 🙂

Regardless of how you ate, it’s in the past and you can’t change that now. Don’t stress over it. You can only control what you do today and moving forward.

So, here is what I want you to do:

  1. Get all the candy and junk food out of your house. If it stays, you will snack on it and those calories will add up over time. Remove the temptation. Donate it. Give it to the homeless. Poison your neighbor with it (joking, well sort of). Or, just throw it in the trash.
  2. Make your next meal a good one. You are only one meal away from being right back on track. Don’t do anything crazy. No need to skip meals. Just go back to your normal way of eating.
  3. Plan out your week. This should be a weekly thing you do. Plan out your meals and your workouts ahead of time.

As you see here, there is no crazy magic sort of thing to do to “reset” your metabolism or undo the poor choices from the weekend. It’s just back to business as usual.

That weekend will not do anything to your progress over the course of this year. The only way it can affect it is if you dwell on it and try to do some crazy fad stuff.

Get the stuff out, go back to eating consistently good, get some good sleep, and enjoy your fitness.
